Florence-Damilola Odufalu, MD is a passionate provider and clinical researcher in inflammatory bowel diseases (IBD), including Crohn's disease, ulcerative colitis, indeterminate colitis and microscopic colitis. Her research and clinical interests are in disparities research in IBD, women's health in IBD and pregnancy in IBD. She is also interested in the manifestations and outcomes of IBD in ethnic minorities and immigrants.

Dr. Van Dam specializes in the diagnosis and management of gastrointestinal cancers such as pancreatic cancer, esophageal cancer, gastric cancer, bile duct cancer (cholangiocarcinoma), and colon cancer. Dr. Van Dam also specializes in the diagnosis and management of benign pancreaticobiliary diseases such as retained common bile duct stones, acute and chronic pancreatitis, pancreatic cystic neoplasms, and primary sclerosing cholangitis (PSC). Dr. Van Dam’s current, IRB-approved, clinical investigation is focused on the minimally invasive screening for esophageal diseases such as pre-cancerous Barrett’s esophagus and esophageal varices, a potentially lethal complication of advanced liver disease.
