Fady Emad Gabra, MD

Fady Emad Gabra, MD, is a general and interventional cardiologist with Keck Medicine of USC. He received his MD from the University of California, Irvine, School of Medicine, and stayed on at the University of California, Irvine Medical Center, to serve his residency in internal medicine. Dr. Gabra then went on to complete fellowships in cardiovascular medicine and interventional cardiology with the Keck School of Medicine of USC at Los Angeles General Medical Center. 

Dr. Gabra has a particular interest in using bedside cardiac ultrasound imaging to guide the diagnosis of acute conditions such as cardiogenic shock and coronary syndrome. The bedside ultrasound allows a physician to make a diagnosis in real-time and talk with patients on the spot about their conditions.

Dr. Gabra believes that trust is the most important part of his relationships with his patients. He works to build that trust through open communication and by respecting each patient’s values and preferences.

Dr. Gabra is a Southern California native. He grew up in Long Beach and then moved to Irvine to pursue his medical training. When he’s not working with patients, he enjoys hiking, singing and spending time with his friends and family.
