Preiyaa B. Gopinath, MD

Dr. Preiyaa Gopinath earned her medical degree from the University of Illinois at Chicago and continued on to complete her internship and residency training in internal medicine in the Primary Care Track at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania.  She is an Assistant Professor of Clinical Medicine at the Keck School of Medicine of USC. Dr. Gopinath is currently seeing patients at both the Downtown Los Angeles and USC University Park Campus clinics.  
 Philosophy of Care Statement:  Dr. Gopinath's favorite parts of her job are building long-term relationships with her patients and educating them on how their bodies work.  She feels that patient education is crucial to patient empowerment, and she wants her patients to ask any and all of their questions.  Overall, she wants to work together as a team with her patients to achieve both short-term and long-term goals.
