What Is Endocrinology?
Endocrinology is the study of hormones and the glands that produce hormones: the pituitary, thyroid, parathyroid, thymus and adrenal glands. Other glands that contain endocrine tissue also produce hormones, including the pancreas, ovaries and testes.

Thyroid Disease
We treat thyroid disorders and diseases, including:
- Goiters
- Hyperthyroidism
- Hypothyroidism

We also perform fine needle aspiration to biopsy the thyroid and surgery to treat thyroid and parathyroid conditions.
Thyroid Disease Before and During Pregnancy
Diabetes and thyroid disorders sometimes happen in pregnancy. Overactive (hyperthyroidism) or underactive (hypothyroidism) thyroid function can also cause infertility. Our doctors provide services from preconception counseling through good control of thyroid function throughout pregnancy and afterward.

- Ultrasounds, X-rays or MRI imaging of the glands, such as the pituitary, uterus, testicles, ovaries and thyroid
