TJ Malseed is the chief information officer for Keck Medicine of USC, leading growth and overseeing operations for information systems at hospital sites, ambulatory locations and office-based practices. He also supports information management and integration of care initiatives for Keck Medicine’s patients.
Malseed also serves as associate dean for information services at the Keck School of Medicine of USC and chief information officer of the university’s Health Sciences Campus.
Prior to joining Keck Medicine in 2016, Malseed held the positions of vice president, chief information officer and chief applications officer at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles (CHLA). With 20 years of experience in information technology, Malseed oversaw the strategy and direction for CHLA’s technology efforts and led numerous clinical, revenue cycles, financial, human resources and research technology efforts.
Malseed holds a bachelor’s degree in international business and a minor in computer science from the University of California, Davis. He is a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives and the Pediatric Leadership Council for Cerner Corporation.
