Carmen Cueto, MD, MSc, is a board-certified obstetrician and gynecologist at Keck Medicine of USC. She chose this field because she is passionate about delivering exceptional care for patients across every stage of their lives and about empowering each person to take an active role in their health care.
Dr. Cueto provides comprehensive well-woman exams and specialized prenatal care for both low- and high-risk pregnancies. She provides STI testing, birth control and family planning services, addressing a wide range of concerns, including abnormal uterine bleeding, irregular Pap smear management and pelvic pain. In addition, Dr. Cueto is skilled in gynecologic surgery, including minimally invasive techniques, and supports patients through the challenges of menopause.
Her research interests are centered on strategies to improve public and global health with an emphasis on reducing health disparities.
In her free time, Dr. Cueto enjoys staying active through long bike rides, hiking, training for her next triathlon or simply walking through different areas of the city. She cherishes spending quality time with friends and family and loves exploring new restaurants wherever she goes.
