Haig Yenikomshian, MD, wants to meld together the reconstructive and cosmetic aspects of plastic surgery — treating people who need reconstruction in a way that achieves the best cosmetic outcomes and treating people undergoing cosmetic surgery with the thoroughness and care required for someone needing reconstruction.
Dr. Yenikomshian is board certified in plastic surgery and in surgical critical care, with expertise in difficult plastic surgery cases, breast reconstruction, and using laser surgery to improve range of motion and scar appearance.
His research focuses on improving the quality of life of patients undergoing plastic surgery, such as advances in burn wound healing, pain management and psychosocial interventions.
Away from work, he enjoys swimming and playing with his sheepadoodle, Edith.
