Hua Wen, LMFT is clinical instructor of psychiatry and the behavioral sciences (practitioner) and a licensed marriage family therapist at USC’s Psychiatry and Behavioral Health Services Clinic at University Park Campus (PBHS@UPC).
Hua enjoys delivering counseling services to individuals and families from different gender, racial, ethnic, geographic, social and cultural backgrounds. Hua’s professional interests include college and young adult mental health, international student adjustment, multicultural counseling, Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders counseling, and mood disorders such as depression, anxiety, and PTSD.
Hua uses various clinical approaches to promote wellness and good quality of life for individuals and families. She provides strength-based and solution focused therapy services. She has been trained to practice mindfulness, cognitive-behavioral, dialectical behavior therapy, trauma informed treatment including CRM and EMDR, and practice interpersonal relationship therapy to people in need.
