As an audiologist at Keck Medicine of USC, Jordan Rock, AuD, specializes in diagnosing and treating patients for various hearing and balance disorders. He is especially passionate about implantable hearing devices, including cochlear implants. He is involved in research that centers on how these devices may reduce the impact of tinnitus, a common issue that causes ringing or buzzing sounds in the ear.
Dr. Rock prioritizes building a trusting, collaborative relationship with each patient who comes to see him. He believes patient education is a key component for achieving optimal health outcomes, and he teaches patients about their health conditions and treatment options in a way that is easy to understand. By explaining the science behind what’s happening, patients can feel more confident and involved in their care and make better choices about their health.
Outside of work, Dr. Rock enjoys exploring new restaurants and cafes with his wife, playing board games, practicing the guitar and watching baseball.

I always want patients to feel comfortable and empowered in their hearing health care. Hearing loss can be very isolating, and people should know they are not alone in their journey. The most important step we can take is the next one – and I’m here to help with that.
