Roxana Moayer, MD, is a facial plastic and reconstructive surgeon who has received advanced training in a wide range of techniques and procedures. Dr. Moayer completed medical school at the Keck School of Medicine, where she graduated in the top 16% of her class and was awarded the prestigious Howard P. House Award for excellence in otolaryngology. She completed residency training in otolaryngology – head and neck surgery at UCLA, where she was awarded the first place prize at the 86th Annual Research Study Club of Los Angeles for her work in hair restoration. Dr. Moayer completed a fellowship with the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery (AAFPRS), at Thomas Jefferson University, one of the most competitive and highest volume training programs in the country.
Dr. Moayer is dedicated to providing safe, reliable and natural-looking results. She works earnestly to ensure her patients are listened to and well-informed. Her areas of special interest include facial reanimation, facial rejuvenation, and hair restoration. She is one of few surgeons in the country to offer complex treatment of facial nerve disorders.
